As an attorney and accountant, and having been an entrepreneur in the areas of consumer product development, licensing and merchandising, Stoller's special expertise is in business planning for all stages of a business, from start-up to public offering, restructuring and new product introductions. Focusing on small to medium-sized companies, he works with clients to develop a clear and useful business plan, whether it is intended to aid in the acquisition of capital or as an internal guide. Plans developed by the firm have, depending on the particular assignment, included concept, management, marketing, finance, production and implementation. Stoller has structured financing for numerous of such enterprises. For his own company, Stoller entered into product development and licensing arrangements with Warner Bros. and the Rolling Stones, to name a few.
Stoller's consulting practice has taken him into a variety of fields ranging from equipment manufacturing to music and electronics. Often brought into projects at the earliest stage, Stoller has played key roles in concept development, packaging, personnel and, where needed and desired, implementation. As president of AdVenture Capital Corp., a privately funded venture capital firm and publisher of the Adventure Capital Register (a magazine helping entrepreneurs and inventors from all over the world raise capital), Stoller is involved in the creation of several new ventures as an active participant, not simply as a consultant.
Stoller is a member of the California Bar Association and a Certified Management Accountant. He earned his Juris Doctorate, Master of Business Taxation and Master of Business Administration degrees simultaneously from the University of Southern California. Upon graduation, he joined the tax department of the international accounting firm, KPMG Peat Marwick. As an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Business Economics at the University of Southern California, where he taught law and finance in the Graduate and Undergraduate Schools of Business, as well as accounting in the law school, Stoller was selected as one of the 20 top teachers. Stoller has been a speaker on such panels as the South Florida Film and Television Industry Roundtable and the Business Finance Conference sponsored by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce; and made editorial contributions to such publications as the Daily Business Review, Inventors' Digest and "A Roadmap to Financing Your Business" .
